Returning to the beach where her love lives on. Karen’s wish was to visit her husband’s ashes at Noosa River Beach.  

When Karen received confirmation that the wish was to go ahead, she was overcome with tears of joy, relief and excitement, knowing she would  have an opportunity to honour her late husband in such a meaningful place.  

With family and friends by her side, she shared a drink, reminisced over memories here and watched  the children play in the sand.  While the weather couldn’t quite  make up its mind, with some sun breaking through between showers, Karen didn’t mind – she stayed so positive throughout the day.
This beach was always a special place for Karen and her husband. Returning here meant that she could spend some time with the people she loved in a place that felt connected to him. A place that will always be held close in Karen’s heart.
