It is with great sadness and heartache to announce that our beautiful, courageous and strong  Shannon passed away on the evening of Tuesday 4th July 2023. 

Shannon did not to want to leave the beautiful life she created and allowed us to be a part of, but her body was unable to fight any longer. 

Her funeral will be held on Sunday 9th July, 2pm at The Garden Chapel, Great Southern Memorial Park, Carbrook. 

We understand that you may wish to send flowers, but instead of flowers, we would appreciate a donation to Ambulance Wish Queensland. They granted Shannon her final wish of a trip to Wynnum Whale Park with her family.

Wednesday 2nd Aug
Yesterday marked 4 weeks to the day Shannon passed. Yesterday was my birthday (this is Michelle Shannon’s cousin by the way). With the help of friends and a birthday wish - we exceeded the target. Thank you to everyone who donated. And the family is grateful for your heartfelt messages Shannon would have loved this outcome. The organisation really did give her a day of f normality - with family from different places. That included big brother Mackenzie who made it from the UK to spend some precious days with Shanny. This is one of my favorite photos of us - 12 years ago at my brothers wedding. 😀
